great location but needs some updates
The location really stood out, being right in the town center made everything easy to access. The bar area was inviting, with good prices and a really friendly vibe.
Some cosmetic issues in the room could detract from the overall experience.

Clean, well furnished room, en suite shower room, two adult cats welcomed
Lack of dedicated car parking!!! Mobility issues may arise as some rooms are up two flights of stairs!!! Plan for early return as facilities may close early!!!

The dining experience at Crown and Cushion was absolutely top-notch! We devoured a feast, including the steak and ale pie which was nothing short of legendary. The bar had a welcoming vibe, perfect for unwinding with a drink after a long day. Plus, the breakfast was a real treat too!
While everything shined, a few small cosmetic issues were noticeable in the room. It didn't dull our spark, but a sprucing up sure would keep it blooming.

Great Choice for a Relaxing Getaway
The room was in the loft such a wonderful space with a huge bathroom and a small kitchen area which we didn’t expect at all it was like a small apartment and we felt right at home and the breakfast was unbelievable especially the local sausage ring it was a game changer
It wasn’t exactly cheap but honestly worth every penny

Charming character throughout, especially in the spacious Double or Twin Room with its cozy decor. The location offers easy street access right outside, making it convenient for wandering around the local area.
No dedicated car parking, which could be a hassle if you're used to rolling in and parking right away. however, street parking is right there. The walls are thin, so if you're not into cranking up the volume or wearing ear buds, you might hear some noisy neighbors or church bells chiming every 15 minutes. Pillows could use an upgrade for a more restful sleep—personal preference, really, but they put a slight damper on comfort. The bed felt a tad short for someone used to a king, though this is just a matter of taste.

A Family Retreat with Convenience
We had a lovely stay in a spacious two-bedroom house, ideal for our family with children. The staff offered helpful dining recommendations, especially for local restaurants. Only downside was limited parking during peak hours. Arrive early to ensure a spot!
